Comics :: Continuity, Schmontinuity :: Page One

In late 2004, a fellow aspiring comic-artist, John Mann and I decided to embark on a comic experiment. Without a working script, we decided to try and create a comic by taking turns drawing each panel on comic board, with the exception of page three when I drew only a splash. John took up the job of coloring each page, again with the exception of page three, which I really wanted to take a stab at coloring. After all of the pages were finished, we each took a shot at lettering the pages ourselves. This was the major challenge of the project: coming up with a storyline that actually made sense... one that would fit with the strange collaboration of artwork that we had just created!
