Gallery :: Kavin

Kavin Utana, a character from "Legend of Novakov." After pencilling the character in an 11" x 14" sketchbook, I inked it with a Sakura Micron, and scanned it into Photoshop. I wanted to try a different way of coloring, so I cleaned up the drawing and adjusted the contrast before streamlining the image into a vector file. Then I colored the image in Adobe Illustrator. After that, I placed the file back in Photoshop where I played around with some filters on several photos from the internet to achieve a texture that I thought went well with the figure.
