Portfolio :: Smalltown Heroes CD Cover

Here's a CD cover design for a local band out of Johnson City, TN, named Smalltown Heroes. One of the bandmembers was familiar with my style of illustrating, and had asked me to do a gatefold cover for their first CD, which they had just about wrapped up in the recording studio. Initially, the bandmembers already had the idea and theme in mind for their cover... I was merely responsible for "realizing" their idea through to the end.

Using a thumbnail sketch as a template, I composed the entire illustration in Adobe Illustrator, using no references. It took about 6 hours to complete. Visit the Smalltown Heroes Website
